Why does offshore quality so often come down to one person?
It’s not the language barrier, and it’s not the distance. It’s that most projects leave quality tied to whoever happens to be doing the work — so the moment a strong engineer leaves, quality drops with them. We take that dependency off the individual and build it into the system. The same result, whoever is on the team — that’s the starting assumption, not the goal.

Linnoedge is an offshore development company based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Twenty-five people here build web, mobile, and core business systems. Producing quality through the team and the system — not through any one individual — is what we put at the center of the company.

What is lab-type (dedicated-team) development?
Lab-type development means reserving a dedicated team for you over a set period, rather than commissioning work project by project. You can start before the spec is fully fixed, and reprioritize month by month. At Linnoedge, an English-speaking IT director joins the team as PM and stays with it from design through to operations.
Why doesn’t quality depend on who is assigned to the project?
Because quality is held by the process, not by individual rapport. The spec is written down as a deliverable, a weekly demo keeps everyone aligned, and code that AI produced quickly clears a quality gate before delivery. Because that procedure doesn’t change when the people do, quality stays steady through team changes.
Can we talk to you before our spec is finalized?
Yes — and we’d recommend it. An IT director starts from hearing out your requirements and putting them into words, so you and we sort out what to build and why, together. You don’t need a finished spec document before you reach out.
How much does it cost?
A lab-type engagement is priced by the size of your dedicated team and the length of the engagement. The exact figure depends on scope, so we give you a precise quote after a 30-minute session where we hear out your situation.
What if the vendor delivers something unusable — or disappears before the project is done?
A fair question for any offshore engagement. Three things make our answer concrete rather than a promise: the milestone plan is in writing before we start; a QA checkpoint clears everything before it touches your production environment; and monitoring stays available from the first month after go-live. We design toward handing the system over — not toward keeping you dependent on us.
What kind of company is offshore development not a good fit for?
